A Joy for Today ...

This morning the Christmas Amaryllis began to bloom ...

... on a grey day with fresh snow on the ground,

it is a living reminder that

"in the cold and snow of winter, a spring awaits to be,"

For now though ... a thing of beauty and joy

for an ever important now ...
