Last year, Minnedosa Mildred was confronting a wind chill of -38C !!!! on Groundhog Day ... today's temps of -22C(that's -7F) seems downright balmy ...
BUT ... Mildred is a bit confused ... early this morning, as the sun reached the bottom of our valley home she saw her shadow ... six more weeks of winter ... Then later as the morning unfolded, the clouds came and her shadow disappeared ...
So, Mildred decided to hit the highway like many Minnedosans and try to find a warmer environment to wait out the next six weeks and leave the outcome to the fates, the weather and the rest of us left shivering in the cold ...
