Cruising far out in the ocean the capitan of ship notices spied smoke coming from one of three huts sitting on the shore of what was an uncharted island. He ordered a boat send over to the island to investigate.
When the crew went ashore to they were met by a shipwreck survivor.
“I’m so glad you’re here!” he yelled “I’ve been ALONE on this island for five years.”
“If you’re alone,” the captain said, “then why are there three huts?”
“Well, I live that one," he pointed to the middle hut, "and I go to church in that one," he pointed to the hut on the left of his home.
“What about the third hut?" asked the Officer pointing to the third hut standing to the right of stranded man's home.
“Oh,” the man said dismissively. “That is where I USED to go to church.”
Thanks to Grandpa Norm for sending me this gem. He said HE posted it in the Church Library where he volunteers his time, energy and interests ... Way to Go NORM !!!

I am sorry, I don't get the joke, can you explain?
This was just great.
So simple but hit the nail right on the head ... It was one of the best things I've read in awhile. Thanks for sharing it.
