I was a young student nurse at the soon to be called I.W.K.(Issac Walt Killam) Hospital for children (I so wanted to answer the phone "I. Killam, may I help you") working on a "clean medicine" ward. In those days kids with blood dyscrasias and leukemias all died. It was a hell of a place to be at 18 years of age. At lunch time those who were able came to a playroom and watched sesame street. I remember.
