Pte. Patrick Lormand, 21, of the 2nd Battalion, Royal 22nd Regiment
based in Quebec City,
was killed and four others were injured
in a roadside blast from an improvised explosive device
on Sunday afternoon while patrolling in the Panjwaii district of Afghanistan.
