How Do You Spell OXYMORON ???

Okay, this one is just too funny ... I've been reading George Carlin's book "When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?" and found this little gem:

TRUE FACT: in 2002, in the US Supreme Court, the surviving heirs of the famous film comedy trio were awarded "the intellectual rights to the Three Stooges."

Do the words Intellectual and Three Stooges belong in the same sentence, EVER???

You are easily amused, aren't you. BTW - where are you working these days?

"True Fact" is a redundancy. By definition, a "fact" must be true, but the expression is widely (mis) used.

John.

really those comments do "nit pick!

Intellectual and 3 stooges in the same sentence???

NEVER!

As a child I hated those "mean old men" and still do not appreciate that form of slapstick.

I do appreciate the Marx brothers for true funniness and hilarity.

So there.
