I got a compliment today that made me wonder ...
Church member: "I like your preaching, I can understand you ... and if I doze off for a few minutes during your sermon, when I wake up I still know what you're saying ..."
Me: "Umm ... thanks ... I think ..."
I'll take it as a compliment - but one must bear in mind that I am also a minister who quoted from comedian Bill Hicks this morning in a Bible Study session ...
