Today in downtown Toronto they gathered to remember.They remembered by name the fallen officers
whose names are inscribed on the granite tablets.
Since 1804, 231 uniformed men and women have died
in service to the People and the Province of Ontario.
Today they read the names and added six more.
Today they remembered
They are heroes in life, not death.

I have always felt so sad for you that your dad had to die in the line of duty..it just isn't fair.
I know the pain never goes away but I pray that you feel comfort and deepest of peace when you need it.
