On Wednesday the kids and I took M out for a sushi dinner before she went to work ... Then on Thursday Ms H planned a surprise party - she made up the guest list and ensured everyone was informed, she planned the entire menu and arranged the orders, and then she and Noahkila made sure that his appointment for a hair cut lasted long enough for her and Beetle to get the house decorated, the food put out, and the guests gathered ...It came as a complete surprise to M ... who walked in the door with a "what the hell is going on?" look on her face, but a great time was had by all and a lot of fun was had by ALL involved.
So, a belated Happy Birthday to M, from all of us !!! (Better late than never!!)
(Oh, and the above was a VERY creative card/present from dear and cherished friends who have been a steadfast presence through our last couple of years!!! It was/is a hoot !!!)
