A Canada Day Hat Trick ...

For the first time in 14 years, I am spending Canada Day without running kids to special events, joining in the fun, then ending the day watching Fireworks after the sun goes down ...

The three kids are travelling with M westward as I write this ... earlier they called enroute from Calgary to Kamloops to say they've passed Golden ... about now they are likely up in the Roger's Pass taking in the breath-taking scenery of the Mountains ...

There is perhaps no better place to spend Canada Day than the rugged Rocky Mountains ...
