Just before Christmas, the media was filled with the news that the State of Texas was going to pass legislation that would allow people who are legally blind to obtain hunting licenses and hunting ... That news, though a little stranger didn't really offend, nor worry me. Afterall, with appropriate assistance, blind hunters could probably do quite well hunting ... What DOES frighten me is the simple undeniable fact that this was happening in Texas ... if we think back it was in Texas that the supposedly fully sighted Vice President Dick Cheney shot one of his hunting companions in the face ... Maybe if Cheny was legally blind he would have hit the target instead ... makes you wonder doesn't it ??
A Blind man with a gun doesn't scare me,
but a Vice President with a gun DOES!!
