From there we had a quick lunch, then headed off to Burlington to visit (again) IKEA to pick up the infamous leaf that Beetle "just had to have for her bedroom ..." We found it after some searching in the childrens' section, then headed for the door and a trip to Acton to visit the Old Hide House (Dad was buying a leather jacket ... it was a trip for gloves, but ... well, I looked so damned good ... and Grandma gave me some money for Christmas ... so I bought a very sharp leather jacket ...).
After IKEA and Acton, we headed to Milton for a dinner date with my cousins and their kids (you met cousin E earlier). When we arrived Ev asked - "how about Mediterranean?"
I said "sure," and we headed off to a restaurant in Oakville that was simply divine ... Agabi Cuisine Mediterranean Restaurant is simply incredible. My words can not do justice to the dinner ...
Ev ordered Creamy Chicken (sauteed chicken breast with a rich madeira sauce), something she described as "orgasmic" ... she wasn't too far off ... Paul and Noahkila ordered the Chicken Shawarma, I had the Lamb and Kofta special (grilled lamb chops, and beef kofta), while the girls each had an order of deep friend calamari and french fries ...
The service was exceptional the food was indescribable ... we ALL went away satiated and very happy ... If you're in the Oakville area - give Agabi's a call and check it out ... you won't be disappointed ...
After dinner, we headed back to P & E's and had a short visit before heading home to Grandma's to start packing and getting ready for our flight home the next morning ...
It wasn't a HUGE day filled with activity, but it was a good day with a GREAT meal ... and that made it very worthwhile ...
