I've kind of gotten used to people LYING about me, that's become standard fare in this town ...
But I have no tolerance for people lying TO me,
and when it is one I thought was a friend,
the wound is deep indeed ...

I trust person in question is very proud of themselves.
It isn't often I get betrayed like this by a "friend".
They have done to my face,
what everyone else did behind my back.
That's nothing if not impressive,
but it does reveal much of what must lie within.
So, now the one I once foolishly called a friend
can happily claim their place at the Sunday dinner table
with the others who merely lied ABOUT me,
they've been out done!!
