This is where I share my musings on a life, a community and a world in transition. In the postings here, I'm just trying to be ME as I struggle to find my way through a confusing time and place ... Here you can listen in on my reflections, my thoughts and my occasional rant ... In this place, ALL ARE TRULY WELCOME - the only requirement is that YOU keep an open mind ...

Happy Mother's Day ...
There is perhaps nothing more ubiquitous to motherhood than a bouquet of freshly picked dandelions ... brought eagerly into the house by a young person awed by their beauty and eager to share the discovery it with their Mom.
So, today for all the mom's I have had the honour of encountering in my life ... to them - moms and aunties, grannies and friends - all of those who have brought the gift of being a "Mom" to us ... I offer a bouquet of dandelions to say - "Have a Happy Mother's Day."

Popeye said it best: "I yam, who I yam!" I'm not perfect, nor do I claim to be. I am an imperfect and flawed human being, with a caring heart and a loving soul ... I am a son, a father, a friend, and I am in a place engulfed by transition, uncertainty and change ... Were it not for my faith, this journey would have consumed me long ago ... for now, I take each moment as a gift ... and live firmly in the present ... because that's all we have ... and sometimes that's more than enough ... Dayenu !!
