Dad: C-- (Noahkila's friend) eats fruits and vegetables at our house.
Mom: He even ate a pear at our house.
Ms. H: A PARROT ??? When did he eat a parrot at our house ??? When did you serve us PARROT??
Mom: I said 'he ate a pear AT our house,' not 'he ate a PARROT'.
Ms H: Oh ... I guess I heard that wrong ...
Dad: You think ???
