Why This Man Worries Me ...

It's not so much that he personally scares me - it's just where he's taken the world lately that scares the bejeebers outta me ...

Today listening to CBC Radio as I crossed Northern Ontario I heard:

1) A Republican from Wisconsin say the only way to combat the rise of violence is by giving teachers and principals access to guns to return fire ... Bad idea - just bad !!

2) Mr Bush say that he felt that people unfairly criticized his administration for "going it alone" too often, something he then denied they did, while in the same breath he said - "we won't go it alone against North Korea, because it didn't work in the past ..." Excuse Mr Bush - Do you listen to yourself??? You deny that your administration has "gone it alone" then say "going it alone" hasn't worked in the past ... that's a major HUH???

3) The Bush Administration has approved the re-arming of the Great Lakes, a body of water where by treaty, weapons were banned since ... OH 1814, when the War of 1812 ended ... NOW, they want to expand the live weapons testing to 34 different locations throughout the Great Lakes ... Does anyone else see anything wrong here ???

4) And today Bush said that he doubts the reports that over 600 000 Iraqis have died since his administration invaded the country ... He said (again on CBC) that this information is simply "not reliable" - Excuse me again Mr Bush, I know you're busy - but are you telling me that the information from your intelligence community IS reliable??? Aren't these the same folks who insisted that there were Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq ??? Mr Bush ... please ... stop this ... listen to people who know, not people who want Oil and Oil profits ...

There are more ... but that's enough for today ... G'night Kiddies, sleep tight ...

And May God help us all ...

Do you want to know what's even MORE frightening than the things that outrage you about George Bush?

That Americans like me hear stuff like this and don't bat an eye. We expect it from him.
