Yesterday at our Rotary Meeting, the Chief and Deputy Chief of the Minnedosa Volunteer Fire Department came and as part of their presentation proudly toured us around the brand NEW Rescue Van the department recently purchased ...It was beautiful and awesome ... and hopefully it doesn't get over used. But it is good to know that if (and when) it is needed, our Department has good equipment to rely on, because not only does the equipment help the lives of others, most importantly, the equipment helps protect the lives of the Fire Fighters themselves.
It was an entertaining and informative break in the afternoon ... my thanks (and that of Rotary too) to Chief Dallas and Deputy Chief Parry for their presentation ... and once again a tip of the hat and a thanks to the Boys of the Fire Department for their efforts back in February 2006 when in the bitter cold of an early morning, they did their best to save the building of Minnedosa United Church!!!
Minnedosa is lucky to have them ready and willing to help when called upon !!!
