Yesterday as part of her 4H group, Beetle and a half dozen other participants had a beautiful hike and exploration around a parcel of land set aside by a local family as a permanent legacy of land and nature for future generations ...With a slough, a dug out, beaver, countless birds and the evidence of deer, foxes, elk and sightings of bear, it is an incredible place to spend a cold and sunny afternoon. The kids had fun, and as one of the adult leaders/helpers, so did I.
