Ms. H. & I Went Walking ...

Today at lunch time, Ms H. and I took the dogs and headed off into the blustery wind for a long walk out and around the corner of town ...

The rose hips, withered in the wind, yet still coloured bright red offered a startling splash of colour along the trail ...

Despite the cold and chill of the relentless wind, the three of them found the energy to play and run ...

The Buffalo were unimpressed by our presence ...

.

The two muskrat sitting on the edge of the ice on the river and the male Canvasback bobbing in the background were unfazed by the dogs ... but the dogs were DESPERATE to have a playful visit with the rodents !!

.
The pedometer I wore told me we walked close to 7 kilometres ... it was a pleasant way to spend some time on a blustery autumn afternoon.
