WKRP in Cinncinati is one of my all-time favourite tv programmes EVER.
I have watched every episode innumerable times. Time spent with Les, Herb, Venus ... and the quirky characters who lurk in the halls of a Mid-western Radio station is never time wasted ...
I was THRILLED when the first season came out on CD ... I'm waiting for season two !!!
There are episodes of the show (the original - NOT the revisit in the 90's) that are breath-takingly hilarious ... One of my favs is the "Bomb in the transmitter" two parter, though the excerpt below would be my choice (tied) for the funniest moment on TV that I have ever watched ... It was brilliant:
