No one can remember the LAST time I baked a pie ... I can't even remember ... it might have been in Bella Coola ...
But this afternoon I hauled out a bag of apples given to us by a friend, whipped up some pastry, cut up the fruit and using my Mom's recipe pulled together a yummy apple pie ...
I wanted to post a picture of the WHOLE pie, but it didn't last long enough, and I was too slow to be able to provide the picture ... instead, by the partially empty pie plate, I let you draw YOUR own conclusions on the pie itself ...
