This coming month I am embarking on a road trip down memory lane. My brother and I (both in our fifties - gasp!!) are driving from Ottawa to Halifax in his vintage Mercedes allegedly to attend our not so gracious Mother's 80th birthday celebration. I call it her DUE. The road trip has been billed as "rolling thunder review - take two." I am take one and Richard Take two, as in take no prisoners. He has arguably one of the most complete rock n roll and blues CD collections anywhere and titles are in the thousands. He is packing the music, I the consumables. He is the designated driver, I am the designated other. Coming your way (almost!) soon, rolling thunder review two - an event by two slightly saggy middle aged rockers on way to the maternal source for enlightenment not to be missed.
