Martin Luther King Jr once said:Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can't ride you unless your back is bent.
I realized today how many people I've let ride my back and use me as a door mat ... professionally and personally ... the list is long ... and today it ends, I won't let another name be added to it !!!!
Today, I straightened my back ... and I won't be ANYONE'S door mat again ...
Like the Mahatma said - "be the change you seek"
Today I started being the change I not only seek, but I DESERVE !!!!!
