Without my digital camera I have to rely on my cell phone camera for instant time photos ... so the quality of the image is lacking, but the taste of the subject, that of Mexican Jumping Bean Slaw with High Kickin' Creamy Tomato Dressing (thanks to Farmgirl Fare) is simply yummy.
Last night Ms H and I made a HUGE bowl of the slaw with dressing, and we enjoyed it with our burgers ... Tonight we whipped up a batch of tacos and I had my taco stuffed with the slaw as suggested by FarmerGirl Susan, the blogger who has created FarmGirl Fare and the recipe in question ...
I emailed FarmerGirl Susan to thank her for the recipe and to share with her the intention that Ms. H. and I have to cruise through the archives of the Blog and check out some of the MANY recipes that lurk there ... I'll keep you posted ... but for now I'm busy munching my way through a vast vat of yummy slaw.
For a delicious treat on a fall day, check our Susan's recipe - you WON'T be disappointed.

How did you manage to stomach the tomato dressing??! I thought you were allergic??!
Isn't Farmgirl the BEST?! Her blog is such an inspiration to me...
I HAD to take the plunge on this one ... it was WAY too yummy sounding to pass it up ...
I lessened the tomatoe content slightly ... upped the yoghurt a bit and had a big dose of TUMS before eating ...
Then I tucked into the slaw ... the only outcome is a flare up of my eczema on my hands and a head ache for the last 27 hours ... small price to pay for a salad that is simply divine!!
I can eat raw tomatoes in small quantities ... so I took the chance ...
Oh, YUM! This looks good (even with a cell phone picture). I'm going to have to head on over and give that recipe a go...
