Can we not connect some dots ???

Today's media in Canada is filled with wall to wall coverage of the horrific events that unfolded at Dawson College in Montreal ... My heart today goes back to that morning when we first heard about the December 6th Shootings at E'cole Polytechnique ... today one is dead ... two are extremely critical and others are also critical ... too much blood shed ... too much suffering ...

And so, what we know today is that one innocent victim is dead and 20 others are being treated for wounds, and hundreds of others are traumatized, and we are forced to confront the madness of it all ... It's simply madness ... pure unadulterated madness ...

But what disturbs me most of all is what can only be described as an OMINOUS connection ... The now dead shooter had a blog entry at a site where the three who burned down our church in February also had a blog entries ... and it is said to be the site where the suspects in a horrific murder this spring in Medicine Hat that left a mother, a father and a brother dead had blog entries ... I will NOT mention the web site here ... I will not give them that kind of advertisement ...

It's disturbing ... it's frightening ... it's madness ...

Can we not begin to connect the dots on these things and begin to address the underlying issues that causes angry people to bring harm upon innocent people???

Whether it is burning down churches, knocking over tombstones, slaughtering a family, or gunning down innocent victims in a downtown college - the madness can not continue, it can not be ignored ...

I wish I had some answers ... but today the only word on my lips is a bitter: "WHY??"

Today the angels weep ...
