Summer is fast giving way to fall ... kids are getting ready for school to start ... the wind has a chill ... the leaves on the trees are beginning to change ... gardens are laid to rest until next spring ... the fields are harvested ... life is winding down and winding up simultaneously ...
I guess it's true ... the seasons are changing ...
Today it's just one of those days. Not a bad day ... not a great day ... just a day as summer is waning fast ...
If I could, I would love to have: a good book, a pot of coffee, a plate of butter tarts, a comfy chair and a warm quilt, and take them to a cabin in the woods somewhere by a lake ... then it would make the day perfect ...
Hmmmm, ... maybe one day ...
Today, the sun is shining ... and for the moment, that is more then enough ...
